I have been in love with this web comic, The Dreamer, for about a year now. I came across a copy of it at Hastings in the used comic book section.
When I got home that afternoon I cracked open the cover and was immediately entranced with the description of the Revolutionary War as told by Lora Innes. This is not your ordinary web comic, it is something much more.
I devoured the first graphic novel and had to know what happened after it ended. So I followed the recommendation to go to the web site and found that there was quite a bit more to the story that I originally anticipated. This pleasant surprise quickly turned to anguish as I realized that I would have to wait week-by-week for more installments of this fascinating story. Although I have to wait for updates I am still enthralled by the story and the art and this seems like a small price to pay for the ability to read this amazing comic for free.
Here are a few pages from the series:
I am so in love with this series that I am eagerly awaiting the next set of issues to be printed. Ms. Innes said that volume 2 should come out some time soon!
As always, I am eagerly awaiting the next updates.
